Treatment Process for Root Canals
Typically root canals are done over a two-visit process. We initially treat the tooth to relieve the patient’s pain and let the tooth heal for about 1-2 weeks. After healing has been established, we have the patient come back to have the canal filled and completed. Most importantly, once the procedure has been completed, it is recommended to have a crown placed on the tooth to have the tooth last for long term success.
